  • In my books any short of winning the gold cup next summer

would be a failure for Jamaica,J.f.f and John Barnes. We have to make sure we win the gold cup to win back the fans and continue our progress to 2014.

What is the status of our academy?

If Barnes is Brave enough to use Fuller in an alternate role , we have a very good chance.Otherwise write it off like everything else.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Starting on the bench instead of Nandi.

What is Jamaica's best ever finish in the Gold Cup?

joint third with los ticos in 93....It is equally important that we win the gold cup to gain a birth in the fifa conedarations cup...That would be a mini world cup for us
At a young age winning is not the most important thing... the important thing is to develop creative and skilled players with good confidence.

                third

                    I see.

But even though Jamaica and Costa Rica tied 1-1 in the 3rd place game it appears that they gave Costa Rica the official 3rd place finish (and Jamaica the 4th), based on total points from the tournament.

The bottom line in my personal book if we can't win the Gold cup this summer then we really didn't deserve to move on to the next round of world cup. WE HAVE TO WIN THE GOLD CUP TO REGAIN SOME FORM OF RESPECTABILITY IN CONCACAF AND TO GARNER SOME NEW FUNDS FOR PROGRAM 2014.

Though I understand what you mean. You know that statement is not 100% accurate. Even if we finish 2nd or 3rd in the Gold Cup the respect and friendlies is already there from now. Qualifying for the Gold Cup and finishing the year in 65th place compared to January 2008 at #106 have already made 2009 looking good for friendlies with top opponents before and after the Gold Cup for Jamaica's Reggae Boyz.
