Brown seeks King deal (December 4)
ull City boss Phil Brown is hoping to reach an agreement with Wigan which will allow Marlon King to remain at the club.
The striker is currently on a season-long loan deal from the Latics, having failed to make an impact at the JJB Stadium.
He has, though, played a key role in the Tigers' flying start to their debut Premier League season.
The Jamaica international has scored four goals in 14 starts this term, helping Hull into sixth spot in the top-flight table.
Brown admits that he is keen to keep the former Watford man at the KC Stadium and is hoping to conclude a permanent deal for the forward in January.

"It's always the case - players will come and go, players will move," Brown told Sky Sports News.
"The bottom line is Marlon King is on a year-long loan, he's not really our player officially.
"However, while at this football club I think he has shown everybody, with his performances, that he is our player and he wants to play for Hull City.
"There is a lot of talking to be done. We are talking about a possible transfer for a player from another football club and I have no idea what Wigan are doing with their business and I have no idea what Emile Heskey is doing with his business.
"I think what we will do is assess it when we come into January and see what happens.
"But, as far as I'm concerned, Marlon King is here for the season."
Targets
Brown made 12 additions to his squad over the summer and is hoping that the New Year will bring another influx of fresh faces to East Yorkshire.
"We have plans in place," said the Tigers boss.
"Scouting reports are coming in left, right and centre. We are covering a lot of Europe now but we are still a million miles behind all the big boys and the guys who have been in the Premier League for a number of years.
"But that is not for want of trying. We are trying to get better players.
"We have got competition for places in every position, so we are not going to flood the place in January. But if there are players we think can improve us we will bring them in.
"We have got transfer targets earmarked and if necessary we will move on them."
