    Owls suffer Johnson injury blow

Johnson will be out until 2009 with medial ligament damage

Sheffield Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson will not play until early 2009 after damaging medial ligaments in his knee at Blackpool.
The Jamaican international picked up the injury during the Owls' 2-0 victory at Bloomfield Road on 25 November.
Wednesday boss Brian Laws told BBC Radio Sheffield that the news comes as a massive disappointment.
"It is a real blow to us because we know what he is all about and we know what he can give us," said Laws.
"He limped off against Blackpool and we felt it was only a minor injury, but it looks like it is worse than that.
"It looks like he has done some damage to the medial ligament and that will keep him out for at least four weeks."
