Wolfe, Fraser in Digicel Cup squad
Midfielders Sean Fraser and Rafe Wolfe have made a return to the Reggae Boyz squad as they were named in a group of 20 to contest the finals of the Digicel Caribbean Championship from December 1-15.
The duo who last represented the country a year ago will get an opportunity to compete for a place in the squad which will be aiming to take the title on home soil. Also making a return to the squad is defender O’Brian Woodbine of Reno Football Club. Woodbine last represented the country in a World Cup qualifier against Honduras in San Pedro Sula which Jamaica lost 0-2.
Defenders Eric Vernon, Adrian Reid and Keneil Moodie as well as goalkeeper Dwayne Miller and forward Roland Dean have been retained from the squad which trained in the Cayman Islands at the beginning of the month. Also included in the squad which is without the England-based players are veterans Tyrone Marshall and Andy Williams who play in the MLS.
Also adding experience to the squad are midfielders Rudolph Austin, Oneil Thompson, Wolry Wolfe, Shavar Thomas and goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts all of whom were involved in the country’s World Cup qualifying campaign.
