  • Spring get together should be planned for New York

I think New York is the perfect place for a forumite get-together and I think the spring of 2009 would be the perfect time. It will be ripe for all the "I told you so's" all the Liverpool talk of "next year will be the year" and Tilla's new excuses for Chelski. It would be good to see if Tilla is real of just a virtual STETHS Man. We can debate Scolari's excuses and speculate on the timing of his exit, as well as on Pretty Boy Ronaldo's latest dives.

I was up there the other day, in the freezing climes, and I had a very good time. Mr Scaly, on extremely short notice, took me out one night and was an extremely good host.

New York is easy to get to and most forumites can find lodging with family, friends or in one of New York's many hotels. The City is also easy to get around and there is so much to do.

I suggest a picnic, as usual, and a couple of evenings on the town. The locals dont have to be burdened with too much work if this is well planned. If we wait too long to do it, Karl will reach stage II of Alzheimers. It is bad enough that all he can speak of now is Arsenal's brief stint of glory. He will soon reach the aggressive, combative stage and they will keep him drugged up in Shady Pines. Therefore, let's act now.

    What say ye?

Independence City Alumni holds a Spring Reunion, in February, in the Fort Lauderdale area. Perhaps we could hold our meeting in conjunction with theirs?

IC Alumni also holds a summer party in New York.

Spring reunion in February? oh well...

Westman...what do you mean by "spring"? If people like me were to attend the weeks on the either side of Easter is best if we are looking at spring.
