BURRELL... there is a major shake-up
The four coaches of the National Women's Programme were dismissed by the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) and have been replaced by team manager Vin Blaine in a major shake-up on Tuesday.
Senior team coach, Charles Edwards, Under-20 coach Xavier Gilbert, Under-17 coach Junior Francis and Under-15 coach Oneil Thomas were all dismissed in what JFF president Captain Horace Burrell said was a major restructuring programme.
"Well, there is a major shake-up," Burrell admitted to the Observer while airborne en route to Montego Bay yesterday afternoon.
When the Observer contacted the local football boss when he landed in the second city, this reporter were referred to Nodley Wright, the JFF's communications manager who sent out a release which offered details.
