The First Round of the Digicel Premier League will come to a close On Sunday November 23, 2008 with the playing of the End of Round Final between Harbour View and Tivoli Gardens at the National Stadium. Game time is 4:00pm.
At stake in this encounter is a prize money of $250,000 for the winning team while the runners up will collect $150,000.00.
The contest will see a number of players in contention for national selection. Among them are Harbour View goalkeeper Dwayne Miller, defenders Lance Laing and Jermaine Taylor and midfielder Keith Kelly. Tivoli Gardens’ Roland Dean will also be in action. Also expected to feature for Tivoli Gardens are Navion Boyd, scorer of the double which fired Tivoli Gardens in the final, former national representatives Christopher Jackson, his brother Kasai Hines and Orane Simpson.
For this match limited seating will be available as only the Grandstand will be used. Tickets will cost $300. 00.
