Mr. Nodley Wright, Communications Manager,
Jamaica Football Federation
The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nodley Wright as Communications Manager with effect Monday, November 17, 2008. The additional responsibilities handed to Mr Wright is further evidence of the Federation’s drive to enhance the organization’s ability to more effectively serve its various interest groups.
Mr. Wright, a renowned and respected Journalist, joined the Federation on July 14, 2008 as Press Officer. His newly expanded role has him responsible for all communication emanating from the organization as well as Public Relations matters.
Prior to his association with the Federation, Mr. Wright who has over 13 years experience as a media practitioner, worked with both the print and the electronic media. He was previously employed to the Jamaica Observer as well as with the Gleaner Company on a full time basis and later maintaining a freelance relationship.
Additionally, he served in the field of education, as Principal and Teacher at the Undergrad School in Montego Bay, St James and also held teaching posts at Herbert Morrison Technical High School.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the University of the West Indies and a Diploma in Education from the Sam Sharpe Teachers’ College.
In addition to his journalistic training, Mr Wright possesses a vast knowledge of sport, at large. His passion for the game of football can only enhance the partnership between the JFF and its publics.
