So true. For all Spurs success in their last three games, they are back at the bottom courtesy of Newcastle's jump from 20th to 14th. Aston Villa now solidly in 5th needs to be looking over their shoulder. They have Brad Friedel who is like two or three men in one. But even he will not be able to stop them from moving down the chart. For the first time ever, any of about 12 or 13 of the Premiership teams will remain afraid of relegation during much of the season. Middlesboro, currently in 8th place with 14 points, is only 3 points ahead of West Brom who are in 19th place with 11 points. Even though it is early, I believe very few points will separate these teams during the rest of the season. It is this parity and uncertainty that leads to our entertainment and to big money for bookies.
