  • Dangers for los catrachos!

Honduras may be up against it in that last semi-final round game against Mexico. Nery Castillo, Pavel Pardo, Leandro, Gio Dos Santos and Guardado will all be available for selection. If Maynor Figueroa and Wilson Palacios are indeed suspended which I've heard but honestly can't confirm Honduras will have serious problems. They have again started succumbing to their customary panic attacks with names such as Carlos Pavon Plummer, Samuel Caballero and the demanding of Rambo Julio Cesar Deleon to be reinstated into the team. This selection are renowned choke artists and the pressure from the public will be enormous come the 19th leaving the boyz in probably the perfect scenario under the circumstances...I just hope that the FA doesn't move the game to that death trap Francisco Morazon where the Bicolor have had their best results against the Mexicans in the past...
At a young age winning is not the most important thing... the important thing is to develop creative and skilled players with good confidence.

heck i forgot that iwas an away game for mexico....therefore there away record after 2 away games is exact what the boyz was after 2 away games...a draw and a loss.

My Honduran co-worker said that they have moved the match to a smaller pitch where the stands are much closer to the field.

Can you image what the reaction will be back home in Mexico if Mexico fail to win any of its 3 road games?

Check out the Honduran press to get a feel of how mentally fragile they are.

Just checked the match reports. Wilson only got a card against Jamaica. Unless he is carrying a card from when.

San Pedro Sulas main stadia are the Francisco Morazon where we got that 0 all draw leading up to the 98 world cup and the olympic stadium. The latter was built in 1999 and has far less atmospere because of the fact the playing field is some way off from the fans...That's where we got beaten last month when mad mad did a coach wi!!
