Fuller can be creative, try him as a mid fielder

Sooner or later someone is going to mark JCR and shut down our right wing.

Fuller is not the most productive Internation striker, perhaps we can retrain him as an attacking mid fielder, he his very skilfull. I can see him shifting his way through a mid field.
The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.

Thank God its canada next, when we do make it to the next round , the balance has to be adjusted.
I cant see how you come to that conclusion, the only thing that was wrong in the games were we didn't pass the ball well, but overall we improved in the second game.We need a striker upfront who holds the ball then the team will function better.

I cant see how you come to that conclusion. we are bordering on being very one dimensional and predictable in our attacks. WE mostly only attack down the right side. Look at the Honduras game again.

                Very True

I attended both games..... sat in the bleachers at half line.... our attacks are 80% on the right... I agree with the lack of balance.... if a team shuts down our right flank, we could be exposed. However, Demar Phillips is equally as good a ball handler as JCR and he is also unflappable in a pinch.... so maybe it is only a matter of the coach exploiting what works well to the max. Tappa may well change his approach in our next game. I am more concerned about the midfield.... Bigga and Rudolph are both big, strong midfielders who cant be easily bundled off the ball, but they are not midfield generals. When Honduras brought on that number 10, we totally lost the midfield, and almost the game. We had no answer to him....Jermaine Johnson and Omar Daley are not true midfielders..... Jermaine Hue might work, but his work ethic (or lack thereof) is legendary (altho a my baller still)..... we do have a few prospects in Jamaica but they are inexperienced.... Kemar Daley from Meadheaven is very good.... and there are probably two or three more.... we need to develop them because even Argentina is now worried about losing Riquelme..... he is the engine of their team and when he is not there, they struggle. Midfielders who can control the center of the park are essential. Tappa, who is one of the best, bar none that I have seen probably knows that tho.

That was tactical, the way we were set up Ricardo Gardener tucked in to keep the midfield compact and we used Campbell-Ryce as the outlet. The tactics worked we won both games.

I don't think their is any problem with the balance on the flanks. Previously we were avoiding the right side of the field because we didn't have any pace on that side. If any team rotates too much on that side of the field, they will suffer on the left. As long as Oneil Thompson is in the midfield it will not be the slickest passing midfield. However, there is no other player (UB40 or otherwise) who can protect the defense as well as he can.

                        Dunny,

There are marginally better players than who CANNOT play on the defensive end as well as he can.

Langley, Khari Stephenson, Jason Morrison or any other person that has a Jamaican grandparent is as hard to get past as he is.

He aint a bad player, defensively he is ok.However he is not a very good passer of the ball and that is very important in a holding midfielder role, once you break up play tou should be able to pass the ball simply and effectively.I watch up to 20 games a week and there are definately better players than him available to Jamaica.

It is great that you watch 20 games a week. Now in those twenty games, which JAMAICAN players did you see that were better than him defensively.

You do know that winning both games does not necessarily mean that the tactics worked, right?
