John Barnes plans to rely heavily on 'Tappa'

JOHN BARNES plans to rely heavily on interim coach Theodore 'Tappa' Whitmore when his stint as Jamaica's senior national football coach officially begins on November 1, regardless of the outcome of the country's remaining World Cup qualifying campaign...

    J. Barnes is now on the hot seat

First, good win again last night. What Whitmore has done in these last two games with no practice games and limited preparation time is truly remarkable. If only we started the campaign this way.

As for J. Barnes, no less than a will by him will be acceptable. And he better deliver!!

We still have a good chance of advancing. We need the win against Canada and some help from Mexico. Although Mexico has qualified now, there will be pressure on Sven to win that last game considering his last two games have been less than what Mexico is expecting from this team.

    Another good day!!

    Respect

Mexico qualified? I dont think they have! If Jamaica hammers Canada by a ridiculous margin, and Mexico loses in Honduras, then Mexico could be sent packing....and Sven would be without a job.
