      Khari Stephenson.

Since he is not there, I would go with Omar Daley, although it has been a while since he has played in the middle of the field. He has the athleticism to replicate Austin's defensive work (needs to keep the wild tackles under control) and he is better going forward than Austin (obviously doesn't have as good of a shot). Woolery Wolfe is also a potential option.

Tappa might go away from the conventional thought process. In the Mexico match we were protecting a 1-0 lead and the man took off Oneil Thompson who was playing in front of the defenders and brought on Jermaine Johnson. That was a bold move.

We will definitely miss Austin. That Honduran team is no joke, i actually think attacking wise they are more talented than Mexico. Whoever replaces Austin is going to have to play one hell of a game.

Thats exactly why i have been calling for quality midfield cover,i hate have to move players around to cover positions.I like a balanced squad,so if a central midfielder is injured or suspended we have a specialist central midfielder to deputise instead of moving a player who is not accustomed to that role to fill in.

Omar Daley used to play as a central mid and Wolf and maybe Tappa feels they have more quality than any other speacialized fellow that is available.

Daley's been playing wide right for Bradford,i suppose we just have to trust the managers judgement. His record reads 3 wins from 3 games we cant argue with that.

Yes he has, but until he left Jamaica he was a central player and in the qualifiers against Bahamas, Simoes brought him on as a central player also.

It was a bold move because the score remained the same.

It was a bold move regardless of score. It was good move because the score remained the same.

If Mexico had scored, would it still have been a good move?

If they scored based one a weakness in that area, it would not.

But it worked, so bold and good move.

Fine. I'm just thinking that too many times our assessment the game is too simplistic. I'm not one to believe that if a substitute scores then the substitution was a smart one. Yeah, I know it sounds silly.

You need an intelligent balla that can cover alot of ground for Austin's slot. I'd use Marshall and bring on Stewpeas in defence.
