  • Reggae Boyz fined for fighting

Reggae Boyz Ricardo Fuller along with brothers Demar and Damion Stewart today offered a public apology for the fight which occurred at a training session at the National Stadium on Thursday night.

Fuller donated his entire match fee to the Peter Cargill and Steven Malcolm memorial funds, while the brothers were fined. Their participation in tomorrow's game is not threatened.

The incident took place after the 'injury plagued' Fuller received what he deemed rough tackles from defender Demar who was playing on the reserve side in the training session. He retaliated and Damion, who was also playing on the same side as his younger brother, ran over to his assistance. The altercation was quickly broken up and the players shook hands afterwards.

Jamaica will train at 7:00pm, (game time) this evening at the National Stadium for the final time before the big World Cup qualifying encounter against Mexico .

Meanwhile, the Mexicans arrived yesterday and had a light training session this morning at the Edward Seaga Stadium, Tivoli Gardens . They will train again this afternoon at 5:00pm at the National Stadium.
Sunday, August 28th, 2011. We will never forget !!
