Why don't you show your facts to disapprove the above?

        1. With a plan for youth development with a youth techical director who can do football development using Jamaican coaches and youth from u9-u20 who will think and act differently and hold the game and the players with the highest regards.

        2. As it goes with the senior side..Get the best available players from with in and with out the country (mostly from within) and provide quality training and player developmental sessions with coaches that can produce this and pass this onto Jamaican coaches who want to change Jamaican football to be the best in the caribbean and central america and then beyond in due time. It's called football education. Tkaes time, but takes a plan that will be achieved.

        3. Get matches to have players play inside the country, caribbean and internationally and challenge and coach them. This is for u15-senior players.

        4. Get the private sector to believe in a well thought out plan that the outside world would use and the makes sense. Something worthwell for them to invest in. Have them bring forth the financial means to do this. Something that they would be proud to give too.

        5. Create for the younger players age u15 through younger senior players hope for themselves in the game because they now see they will get better from football educators. With no hope no vision. Use the game to better the players and the country.

        6. Get the criticts to believe this will work and make it work. Stop the negative crap and work together. Lets get speaking correctly and on the same page. So very vital to speak well together and be proud one day that Jamaica will always be on the brink of their many teams to be international qualifies in tournament play.

        7. Forget the past and believe that this country of Jamaica has potential and develop it. We all know that players have great natural God given abilities. If they did not they would not be hired abroad. Football is an industry and could provide work for more players, so we have to treat it like a business, but the business is the game and the development of the players that make up the industries work force.

This should get a few comments, but remember the rest of the world is using methodlogy that works with those trainers that can produce players to be winner and feel good about themselve. Jamaica needs to go beyond their present stage of football and develop players physically, mentally and spiritually. The players are ready and willing.

The questions now lay with those who are to lead them, and can they lead and just who are they with such a plan for this to happen. It's not majical and it already exist and ready to be implented and must be implented by football thinking and action doing folk. All parties are is great need for this to happen becasue you can't go further downward into the international ranking that we have just heard about and not feel embrassed enough to really put a plan together that will work. Speak all you want about what ever but the correct words built on a plan is what will work. Steady and consistent growth is needed and not a band aide approach that use allot of hard earned dollars with little valued results. Enough right Mosiah.........my friend.

You are right...but limited in scope!
You cannot ignore any part of the island! ...and if you are going to say you did not where then is the part of the development program that finds, nutures and development of the boy or girl from the hills of Thompson Town in Clarendon...or Cedar Valley at the foothills of the Blue Mountains in St. Thomas...or on the plains of Ketto, Westmoreland ...or Lionel Town in Vere, Clarendon...or in the Districts of Cockpit Country...in short "all-Jamaica"?

You cannot leave out our schools football! You cannot just shut your eye to the investment in people, land, buildings & fields and equipment that is found in every nook and cranny of Jamaica! ...can't be done! Morally bankrupt so to do!
...matters not the sayings of those in football who speak only of the very necessary football academies and other private training institutions they wish come into being!

*As a 'countryman' I am biased! As a Jamaican I am double upset at this constant leaving out in the cold so much of Jamaica...that part of it that is not found in the urban areas!
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
