I recieved a newsletter from one of the online soccer wholesalers with whom I do business. In the newsletter, there was an article from FORBES magazine listing the net worth of all Major League Soccer franchises.

Los Angeles Galaxy was named by far the most valuable team in Major League Soccer. They are worth $100 million while Toronto FC, who are the league’s second most valuable team, are worth $44 million.
Galaxy is owned by L.A. based company AEG. Herbalife pays $4million a year to have their logo on the Galaxy kit. The value of L.A. Galaxy was boosted by the arrival of David Beckham, and reports says the club sold 300,000 replica kits with Beckham on the back.
