PORTMORE UNITED SIGNS SIX FIGURE DEAL WITH BURGER KING
Portmore United FC and Burger King have entered into a six figure sponsorship deal that will see Portmore United receiving cash and meals from Burger King Restaurants throughout the season. In commenting on the merits of deal, Portmore United Chairman Wayne Sinclair stated “we greatly appreciate the cash and kind commitment from Burger King as this will go a long way towards helping us to offset our costs and nutritional needs. But the real value of this partnership is that Burger King and Portmore United will be working together to establish some critically needed community outreach programs in the community with an emphasis on at risk youth. We are delighted to find a partner that shares ours views on the crucial thrust that is now needed to ensure that our children receive the right kind of guidance and inspiration as they try to navigate the treacherous waters in which our current social climate now casts them”.
Portmore United and Burger King will hold a Press Conference on Thursday September 17, 2008 at 10:00am at the Burger King in Braeton (Portmore) to commemorate the execution of their agreement.
