Dear Reader,
It happened on September 11, 2001, a date that is etched in everybody's consciousness as a result of the horrific terrorist attacks on the United States. In addition, September 11, 2008 was significant for Jamaica. It marked the first anniversary of the official formation of the Golding-led administration, for better or for worse. While there are stark differences in comparison, September 11, I suspect, is going to be remembered by football fans as the day when Captain Horace Burrell booted Rene Simoes, the technical director of the Reggae Boyz.
