Can you give us the quotations from the JFF's Constitution which frames such actions by a President of the JFF...being careful to point out where in that JFF Constitution any President of the JFF who acts in like manner contravenes the JFF's Constitution?
        Thank you!

Burrell has always been authocratic. The benign dictator in the making. Anyway, he alone was never the answer.

Constitution or not, Burrell has consulted with his board for every little thing in his second stint, well, at least that's what he has told us.

Not defending Burrell's decision, but I know him to be a planner that would have predetermined actions for different hypothetical scenarios. That comes from his military training. He could have predetermined and even run his hypotheticals by the technical committee beforehand and already got consensus if not approval to make the decision. He has fired national coaches immediately after a loss in a foreign country. Remember Clovis d'Olivera in after the WCQ game in Costa Rica?

When should he fire Simoes then? When its mathematically confirmed that we have no chance.

Costa Rica fired Medford right after their prelimiary tie with Grenada even after they advanced. Stop chat your f*ckery. Th reality of the dream has set in.

Its 2014 we will be preparing for. Let the rebuilding process begin.

Excuses big man...any leadership training, military or not, will tell you that no one man can do everything and there ust be delegation and trust in those you same one hired around you.

What are the roles of the heads of committees...rubber stamping everything the president says??

                      That cant be the it.

Sicko, one cant do everything, but one can make a decision based on the recommendations of others. Most organizations such as enterprises, government, sports authorities, use this management model. An organizational leader MAY delegate responsibility, but he/she cannot and should not delegate authority or accountability. It is the President of the JFF, whoever that may be, that makes the decision to hire, and fire, national team managers. He does not have to follow the recommendation of a technical committee as their recommendations are just that, advice to the executive decision maker.

The pot a call the kettle black ...lol seriously why fire the man now , you went to great extremes to get the man , you have a mathematical chance , it shows Burrell hasnt changed..knee jerk reaction , it also shows he has no faith in Rene , and he wrote off the campaign.

Burrell stint might be short , Jamaicans are fickle and dont take too kind to broke bullies .

What next ? Barnes or Laza would be the logical choice , a nmae to draw corporate support.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Tell them Dweet! The buck stops with Burrell. It might be the responsibility of the committee to make the decision on hiring or firing, but Burrell certainly has the authority to make the call when he did.

That said, the manner in which Simoes was fired was kind of crass to say the least. The firing of anybody should be done in a manner which allows the person being released to at least leave with his dignity. There is no reason why the good Captain could not have waited until the team returned to Jamaica and then he could request a one-on-one with TD Simoes and read him the riot act. Burrell obviously pulled the rug from under Simoes in full view or awareness of all the players and technical staff, especially with the whole gravity of the loss on the sholders of everyone.

Decision-making is the hallmark of any good manager. Whereas I give the Captain credit for making the decision to cut his losses and rid the JFF of the expensive failure called Simoes, I take exception to to the manner in which Mr. Simoes was relieved of his position. I also took exception to the release by Clovis de Olivers back in 2003 too.

The Captain has the authority to fire, but he has not shown as someone to follow procedure.
