Despite Jamaica's vow of silence, coach Rene Simoes asserted that the Caribbean nation is disrespected and underrated in México.

Chaos erupted at México City airport on the arrival of the Jamaica National Team for their World Cup qualifying match against México on Saturday.

The Reggae Boyz and their coach, René Simoes, arrived in silence, and amid pushes and shoves, avoided the Mexican press and their questions.

The outspoken Simoes, however, did not leave without having his say. He reacted to the lack of commidity and persistence of the local press.

"We are underrated in México," he stated before boarding the team bus. "You think Jamaica is a very small rival, but in tomorrow's match we will see the answer to your disdain."

The majority of the disorder was a result of Jamaica players pushing back aggressive photographers. Eventually, members of airport security had to intervene to prevent the situation from becoming a major problem.

The Jamaica delegation was not complete, since only 18 to 20 players arrived, according to Mediotiempo.com. The remaining players, were due to arrive by midnight on Friday, just hours before the match.
