Saw the game on FSC. Joe Public's back four looked solid. I was impressed with Wolry Wolfe and Harvey's contribution. Roen Nelson is another story though.

I wonder why Simoes didnt have a look at Christopher Harvey in a few friendlies. he looked solid in his position in JP defense over both legs.

Christopher Harvey is as good as any defender we have playing in England. Memba mi tell yuh!

His distribution from defence is top-class!

Simoes is not unfamiliar with Harvey.

Perhaps, but HVFC beat Joe Public for the CFU title.

Trust me...the MLS is not of good quality...I have never said anything before about this..but the standard overall is poor. We never watch the MLS game...and in fact...only just went to see DC United play this weekend against New York...and really it was like watching paint dry.

However..it has helped the American game somewhat...so hopefully it will improve..time will tell..

yes bill it has helped the american game, just the repitition of playing 38 games in a season is bound to cause players to improve and maintain decent fitness.

it is not an exciting league, for a pro league there are so many players with a poor first touch it is unbelievable.

I've watched HArvey in a couple of games for Joe Public and he looks solid...I think he just recovering from injury though...too bad Sterling wasn't in these 2 games..he could have made an impression.

MLS has some good players...they are just spread over too many teams and there are too many mediocre Americans that are hyped-up by the commentators. Did you listen to the pile of excuses last night when they were going dwon??? Sounded just like the Olympics. If teh MLS is to improve they just need to give contracts to more quality players - from foreign - not mega bucks players like Becks.
