But disappointed Hornets boss Adrian Boothroyd has revealed that despite resting during the week, the Jamaica international isn't ready to make a return.
"We were hoping to welcome Marlon back but the medical team have advised that he needs further rest at this stage," he told the club's official website.
"We'll carry on monitoring the situation on a daily basis."
