I'm not saying that we are worth 28 Million, I'm saying we are at least worth twice whatever they are paying T&T when you look at the return they could get from the association with Jamaica (total package).
so what about before the world record breaking perfomances ohh poor you

I read somwhere that Puma has sold close to 1 million new runing shoes since the start of the olympics, which in my mind can be attributed to the success of the Jamaica team at the Olympics. I will guess that one of their running shoes go for about US$30-US$80. you do the math.

That right there is all the bargaining power the JFF would need to negotiate a solid deal, at least US $5M.

Seems like we are forgetting that Football is still the number # sport in Jamaica.

Italy wears Puma -- a German brand -- and won the World Cup wearing it, too. And this despite the fact that there are several domestic Italian sportswear brands to choose from (Kappa, Lotto, Diadora, etc...).

The smart federations take the best deal they are offered, domestic or not. It's not about nationalism.
You would be better off sticking to American issues... Jamaicans can decide their own fate and really don't need your counsel.

You're still not getting the point. You are comparing apples to oranges in terms of athletics and football. Puma still doesnt have the ability to offer massive sponsorship deals like Adidas or Nike even if they sell 1 million pairs of shoes.
