<P class=big>Jose Mourinho insists his Chelsea side will be going all out to win the Carling Cup this season.
The Blues travel to Blackburn for their third round tie on Wednesday, with suggestions the Premiership champions will rest the majority of their first choice eleven.
With The Blues competing on four fronts, Mourinho admits it is difficult not to prioritise their campaign.
But the Portuguese is desperate to win again the competition his side claimed in 2005, and is aware of the threat Rovers will pose to those hopes.
"The Carling Cup is important. It's not The Premiership or the Champions League or the FA Cup but it's a cup and a competition we respect," said Mourinho.
"We won it two years ago and we want to repeat that if possible.
"If you ask me if I'd prefer to win the Premiership or the Carling Cup, I prefer The Premiership, but it's a competition we respect.
"And it's like a Premiership game. Blackburn are one of the top teams. It's a difficult match but we will try to win it."
