APPOINTMENT OF DONOVAN DUCKIE:TECHNICAL DEIRECTOR
Please be advised that, effective August 1, 2008 Mr. Donovan Duckie has been appointed
the Technical Director of Portmore United Football Club. Mr. Duckie’s appointment fills
the void left by the departure of Mr. Horace Reid last year as he commenced his duties as
the General Secretary of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) in November of 2007.
Mr. Duckie shall have the responsibility of implementing and managing the overall
strategic technical directives of the club’s senior and under 21 teams.
Mr. Linval Dixon will continue in his capacity as the Head Coach of the senior (premier
League) team, Mr. Desmond Smith remains as the Head Coach of the Under 21 team and
Mr. Geoffery Hewitt remains as the Head Coach of the Under 17 and Under 15 teams.
Portmore United FC is excited about the experience and professionalism which Mr.
Duckie brings to our organization and we wish to thank all our fans, supporters and
stakeholders for their continued support.
