  • Support Barry Gaynor if you're in the Area

Barrington Gaynor was diagnosis with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). He played for his high school (in Jamaica), his college (Alderson Broaddus College in West Virginia) and for the Reggae Boyz. Some of his team mates that he played with for many years are hosting a soccer game in his honor. This will be on Friday August 1 at Evander Child High School Soccer field on Gun hill Road in the Bronx. If you guys are not too busy and would like to see some Jamaica style soccer please come out and support him. Proceeds will pay for his treatments.

            Sorry to hear!
The Cobra I know was a very pleasant person.
Refereed many matches in which he played...and when I lived at Caribbean Terrace shared many moments with him and his teammates at Compound.
            Good man!

            Wish him the very best!
