Eight teams combined from Major League Soccer and the Mexican Futbol Liga will battle it out for the 2008 SuperLiga title and the million dollar prize that comes with the trophy.
In Group A, MLS teams D.C. United and the Houston Dynamo will face Mexican powerhouses Chivas de Guadalajara and Atlante.
Group B pits Mexican clubs Santos Laguna and reigning SuperLiga champions Pachuca against MLS sides New England and Chivas USA.
Pachuca won the inaugural SuperLiga tournament in 2007 with a spectacular final game that went to penalty kicks against the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The 2008 SuperLiga will be televised live on TeleFutura in the United States and by Televisa in Mexico. All games will be streamed live in English on www.SuperLiga2008.com.
