To me Crouch is a utility player. He is limited in what he can do and so a team with the luxury of being able to bring him off the bench in specific game situations will do okay with him. Pompey doesn't attack much with the crosses from the wings so I don't know how effective Crouch will be for them.Comment

Liverpool buy the most players so far this year. If they are one or two players away from the bigtime why they keep on buying every player they can get their hands on. By the time them gel them have a new ton load of players coming in.
Crouch did the right thing, he will get more playing time. It happen the same way at Liverpool every year. Whether it is Cisse, Kurt, Babel etc. only when they not delivering is Crouch called upon.
Can't wait fi see him and Defoe and Kanu making waves. Defoe will run at them, Crouch win the ball in the air and we all know Kanu even though he may not have the legs anymore.- Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth.
