    Russia - Fast...thinkers...technically proficient...

    ...most often simple TEAM play!
    Support for the man on the ball? ALWAYS!
    TEAM attack? Yes!
    TEAM defense? Yes!

    Soooooo what do you really want in good players?
    Intelligent!
    Fast!
    Excellent Technical Skills!
    Know individual tasks within TEAM concept!
    TEAM oriented!

    Result? Excellent TEAM! ...and TEAM play!

    Number 1: Not needed - Players who are not TEAM oriented!

    Number 2: Not needed- Players who think first of me! ..and not of TEAM 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th...to infinity!

    Russia today was...very good!
    Missed many chances but TEAMPLAY? Excellent!

      No!
      I am emphasising - (not all I am saying) - that TEAM is beautiful in many differnet ways. Who would say the way the Russians played was not attractive and entertaining? Yet the manner of playing was not like a Brazil or an Arsenal.

      With our Reggae Boyz and the type technical skills our players possess it would be safer and more efficient for a Russia type style of play.
      Make tons of early safe passes!
      When on attack - Concentrate of movement into space and sharing of the ball. Be committed to TEAM goals. Be unselfish!

      When on defense - TEAM defense.

      Make it simple, safe and TEAM oriented!...that would give TEAM Reggae Boyz greatest chance of making it to South Africa...and incidentally present the players with greatest chance to 'cash in' on their talents.

        Russian have never been short of teamplay. That was always their strenght, as a matter of fact years ago they were better at it but they never got anywhere. How can that be explained?

        In my years of watching the Russians I can never remember one player who took on the opponent or going by two defenders.

            The better teams in world move the ball at pace and the Russians yesterday did that alot better than the Dutch.
