    Canadian referee for JA/Bahamas game
    Friday, 13 June 2008

Sheffield United striker Luton Shelton will replace Ricardo Fuller in Jamaica's starting line up for Sunday's World Cup qualifying game against the Bahamas at the national stadium.

Fuller sustained a knee injury in a friendly international against Grenada on Tuesday and did an MRI scan.

Shelton will partner with Marlon King up front.

They will be supported by midfielders Demar Phillips, Andy Williams, Evan Taylor and Rudolph Austin.

Donovan Ricketts will be in goal, Tyrone Marshall, Jermaine Taylor, Ian Goodison and Ricardo Gardner will play in defense.

The Reggae Boyz had a practice session at the match venue on Friday.

The Bahamas squad headed by their Brazilian coach Neuider dos Santos is expected to arrive in the island at 10:15pm Friday.

Canadian referee Mauricio Navarro will take charge of the second round first leg qualifier at the national stadium.

He will be assisted by countrymen Osvaldo Vergara and Joe Fletcher.

Steven Depiero is the fourth man while Roberto Monterrosa of Guatemala is the match Referee Commissioner.
