Brush the only thing of significance here is the results justify the JFF getting lowly Grenada as preparation for the Boyz crucial games against better teams....
      No longer nonsense or madness.

10 reasons why Simoes should go

        1) Too short sighted.....Depending on older slower players like Goodison
        2) 20 locals brought to Brazil...No new finds..E taylor that didn't go is starting
        3) Users switch of player position when not bettering the overall team
        4) Poor as a defensive coach...CB as the defensive lead got us to WC 98
        5) Lets perosnal feelings affect squad/match picks
        6) Talks too much withh little or no action
        7) Someone needs to be accountable for this loss...and its him
        8) Better to cut him now than before it's too late..
        9) Called up alot of players in the same position..Langley,Daley,JJ,Williams, Jamal, who else?
        10) He has little or no recognition around the world except for his "Jesus saves" shirt
Okay! Now give 10 reasons on who a cash-strap JFF should hire in the time allotted before qualifiers.
Someone not as infallible as Simoes.

Calm yourself down, give some credit to the Grenadians. Football is football, the ball is round. 9 times out of 10 Jamaica will beat these teams....you lose the odd one here and there. When Jamaica play the likes of Brazil, Mexico etc and come away with narrow defeats or a 1-0 vistory, we praise our team....when the football gods frown on us and we lose to a minnow, we blame the coach. THIS WAS A MEANINGLESS FRIENDLY GAME. It must have been hard to get any player motivated for a game like this.

SO you really think Grenada overall is better than Jamaica simply based on the fact that they beat us? Remember a couple years ago when we beat Mexico? Did that make us an overall better team than the Mexicans? Its all about who wants the victory more....and from the look of things, you can understand why Grenada would have been more motivated to play us than we were to play them! What does a Marlon King, Ricardo Gardener etc have to prove against Grenada in a friendly game?

I find that we have a bunch of fickle supporters around here. like you said, when we over-achieve and beat teams like Mexico, hold the mighty Brazil to 0-0 ties, we all jump and rejoice....but when its time for us to be overpowered by a lesser team, everyone throw in the towel and write off the team and coaching staff.

Simoes said it on his return that his biggest challenge now will be motivating his players, many of them are now professionals making a more than decent living for themselves. Why would Ricardo Gardener come out and give the game of his life vs Grenada, away, less than a week before a crucial world cup game?

And this was exactly what you said when STVG beat us some years ago!

I assure you this, USA aint goint to Grenada to Lose...Mexico won't either.
That was a game we shouldn't loose for a number of reasons inclusing our World rankings. Can someone define a Head Coach's job for me....Shouldn't it include motivating the players to player? Shouldn't it include selecting the hungrier players. Ok, we played 45 minutes, leading 1-0, the team looks tired and we need to preserve the players for Sunday..Why didn't we see a wholesale change at half time to take off those players and put in players like JJ, Thompson..majority of the Bench who hasn't seen much playing time? Isn't it the coach's job to make these decisons...This is why he get's the blame.

No, it was very important. Important enuff for us to not use our farin legion, and important enuff for us not to have spent any money on the program, including the acquisition of a Brazilian delegation that is being paid millions of Jamaica dollars per month. So, yes, it was not a meaningless game at all!

I can imagine the motivation of the Bahamians! Let's hope we take them seriously.

The St. Vincent loss is probably the worst mistep reggaeboyz have had since last World Cup qualifying.

                              Talk about a Domino effect...

What do you expect of any coach who has been with a team - perhaps 16 or so days?

Can someone please do the research and post (itemize) players called for each match Simoes has been at the helm?

...number of actual days there was some training with each squad?
