    Manchester issues statement on Ronaldo.

    Manchester United has issued the following statement regarding Cristiano Ronaldo's future:
    Manchester United has watched with growing irritation the comments attributed to Real Madrid over their alleged desire to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. The facts are:
    1) The player is on a long-term contract and his registration is held by Manchester United
    2) The player is not for sale
    The Club will have no alternative but to report Real Madrid to the world governing body, FIFA, if it continues to behave in this totally unacceptable fashion. These public attempts to unsettle the player are completely against the regulations and the Club will not tolerate them any longer.
    In addition, the Club is certain that they are a distraction for the Portuguese national squad as they prepare for the European Championships. No-one should be in any doubt that Manchester United will do everything in its power to keep its best players.

    Manu need fi fight fiyah with fiyah. Dem need fi target some a Real Madrid players.

    Then again, why should Ronaldo go to Real Madrid? Yes, its a big club, but their system of play isn't ideal for the Portugese star. Ruud is their main target man and he is always there, Manu has a system where Tevez and Rooney are capable of dropping deep or going put on either wings allowing Ronaldo to move in.

    Real's system of play wouldn't allow Ronaldo to score alot of goals.

          HL, this is like watching an episode of MacGuyver. No matter what? Even when its 10 seconds before the bombs explodes ... him gonna be alive.

          Since 2006 World Cup, this drama keeps repeating ... Ronaldo will be going to Real Madrid. I don't mind ... it will just drive the team to win everything next season.

                  Yuh talking that? This Euro championship
                  will give Christian the chance to show the world that he is top quality, that he can play BIG games. Christian has to keep Portugal in that tourney and win it.Anything less than that, he is just a media hype to me.

                    Big games? The CL final isn't a big game? Michel Platini had said he needed to perform in the CL to be recognized.He was instrumental in his team reaching the semis of the 06 WC ...
