This is from the quarterfinals of the Mexican League playoffs. Cruz Azul, the home team (blue) beat Chiapas Jaguares (orange) 2-1, with the two-game aggregate tied 2-2.
In stoppage time, a Jaguares player with the ball elbows aside a Cruz Azul player, recieved a red card, and all hell broke loose.
Under the rules of the playoffs, Cruz Azul advances because they were the higher-ranked team. There was no overtime, no penalty kick shootout, no away goals count double.
Cruz Azul eventually advanced to the finals and will play Santos next weekend .
