JAMAICAN INTERNATIONAL Teofore Bennett opened his account for Swedish Allsvenskan club Oster in fine style when he netted twice in a 3-1 victory over Halmstad at the VSrendsvallen Stadium in VSxjs on Tuesday.
The crafty striker officially opened his account when he finished coolly to give his club the lead after just 21 minutes.
Midfielder Paulo Figueiredo, who had played Bennett through for his first goal, then increased the team's lead eight minutes later and Bennett returned to strike again sealing the deal on the stroke of half-time.
Tommy Jonsson managed to pull back a 53rd minute consolation goal for Halmstad.
The victory was the second in row for Oster, but they find themselves second to bottom with nine points after 13 games.
Bennett, who signed for the club a little after over a month ago after a brief trial period, also received the Man of the Match award.
For a team that has struggled to find the back of the net so far this season, having scored only nine goals in 13 games, Bennett is now its joint leading scorer, along with defender Marco Da Silva.
In other league games, Khari Stephenson's GAIS played their way to a 2-2 draw against BK Hacken on Wednesday, the point gained from the draw saw them jump three spots to seventh place on 17 points.
Luton Shelton's Helsingborg remain in ninth spot with 14 points following a 2-1 loss to Djurgaarden on Saturday.
All three Jamaicans, Shelton, Stephenson and Bennett, have now scored at least one goal for their respective clubs.
