Adebayor over Torres. Why? Look the control and volley he scored against Spurs then similiar ball against Derby, he took it same way, but executed it differently.

Torres is good at running onto the ball behind the defender, but because of how Arsenal play, when Adebayor does it, he end up being offside.

        Torres is smart!

Adebayor is stupid!...OK! OK! ...not as smart!

Stupid? If you notice, everytime Gerrard gets the ball facing the opponents goal, observe who he looks for. If Gerrard or Alonzo sees Torres start the run, there is no 2nd guessing what to do. Arsenal on the other hand, have to make 1000 passes ... and if they reach 998 and Adebayor makes the move, they insist on making the 999th pass before releasing the striker. By the time the pass is made to him he is offside.

Spurs, Chelsea, Manu, Liverpool all make the pass to release their strikers ... thats why Adebayor has the most offside. Adebayor isn't stupid KArl, if he was at MAnu he would have been the top scorer.

Just an opinionated question , Its Torres 1st season and he is on par with adebayour .More clinical in my opinnion. All he needs is half a chance , Addie needs two.

Whats your opinion ? on who is 1 to 4 or 5 ?

He will be exposed as a pure winger.

The best striker is berbatov hands down..

The purist who know and understand ball will see that even if he is not the top goal scorer. It all depends on your supporting cast.

Berbatov is the best and blackburn south american striker is second.

Ronaldo is 3rd...Torres is 4th ...Tevez was a striker in Brazil but now he is a terminator(striker/midfielder/ball winner/decoy master)- Rooney fall in that class. Manchester is lucky to have 2 of these types in their squad but the average team usually only have one.

are these comparisons deserving of anyone's time?

here's another to waste time on - who is/was the hardest kicker of the ball in schoolboy competition?

If the amount of goals scored is THE factor in selecting(which is why Wayne Rooney isn't listed)then amazingly a winger(Ronaldo)is the best striker in the EPL.

                              You have been watching a different set of YOUNG GUNNERS than I have as there are i) too many times Adebayor is found off-side when he is late in coming back after attacks have broken down;

ii) he moves into the off-side position when there is no way on God's good earth that he should have closed his eyes to his postion relative to the last defender but one:

                              ...and....
iii) horror of horrors the man even finds himself off-side when only GUNNERS players have broken with the ball. For some reason he too often forgets that just staying behind the ball will keep him on-side!

...the man plays the ass much too often! He does this anti-TEAM 'running off-side' thing so often there can be no other conclusion but that he is a fool!
