    11.10.06 - CONCACAF has confirmed the kick-off times for all the matches during the 2006 CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup which will take place in two USA venues from 19-26 November.

    The third edition of the Women’s Gold Cup will have Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad &amp; Tobago and USA competing for the CONCACAF title along with two guaranteed spots in the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup in China.

    In first round action, Panama against Jamaica and then Mexico facing Trinidad &amp; Tobago at the Tropical Park Stadium in Miami, Florida on 19 November.

    The victors in these two first round games will then advance to the semifinals of the event with the winner of Panama vs. Jamaica to play against Canada, while the team advancing from Mexico vs. Trinidad &amp; Tobago will meet reigning Women’s Gold Cup Champions, USA. The semifinals take place on 22 November at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills (Carson, California).

    Tournament play concludes with the CONCACAF Women’s Gold Cup™ Final and a third-place play-off game on 26 November, also to be held at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

    The Champion team and the runner-up will automatically qualify to the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup in China. The third-place finisher in the CONCACAF event will face Japan (from the Asian Football Confederation) in a home-and-away playoff for the final berth in the FIFA tournament.

    Tickets for the first round doubleheader, taking place at the Tropical Park Stadium in Miami, Florida, on Sunday 19 November, are available from Wednesday 11 October by calling 1-877- 877-7677 or by visiting www.tixops.com. Tickets can also be obtained through Soccer Locker +1/305-670-9100 and Gali futbol +1/305-649-8882. Ticket prices for this double-header start at $10.

    Tickets for the Semifinals doubleheader and for the final day doubleheader, taking place at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California, on Wednesday 22 and Sunday 26 November respectively, are available through the L.A. Galaxy at 1-877-3-GALAXY or www.lagalaxy.com and TicketMaster at +1/213-480-3232 or +1/714-740-2000 or log on to www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices start at $15 and discounts are available for group purchases of 10 or more or when buying tickets to both days. Groups and Ticket packages for both days will be available starting Wednesday, 11 October. Individual tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, 1 November. Please call the L.A. Galaxy for details.
