  • Ronaldinho Milan Move Has Collapsed – Galliani

Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani has admitted that Ronaldinho’s proposed move to the club will not be taking place.

The deal to sign the Brazilian, who is certain to leave Barcelona following a miserable season on-and-off the pitch, had looked a virtual certainty only a few weeks ago.

Ronaldinho’s agent and brother Roberto de Assis had been involved in serious discussions with Milan officials, however the move then hit a snag over the transfer fee.

Milan transfer guru Adriano Galliani has now conceded that the deal has all but collapsed.

"The fans shouldn't be disappointed,” he stated, then going on to refer to yesterday’s 2-1 win over city rivals Inter.

“In fact, they should be happy because we are world champions and we won the derby."

Meanwhile, Arsenal midfielder Matthieu Flamini will undergo a medical in Milan today, before completing a free transfer move to the club.

The Frenchman is expected to sign a four-year contract, having rejected a new deal from Arsene Wenger’s Gunners.

Flamini really came to the fore during Arsenal’s Champions League victory at San Siro in March, where he put in a man-of-the-match performance.
