Heard Fergie alluding to Man U being at full strength by the Barca game(my gut tells me Messi too will be ready). This is absolutely good news.
Would love to have Nani for the next EPL game though.
I think Park was burdened with a huge responsibility today, and can't judge the returning Sylvestre by his performance today, but I believe the lack of the dynamic Evra and the acclaimed wenger is testimony of how flat we can be without a specific type of player on the flanks.

Do you all (supporters of that "other" red club) think that your manager was wise to play Ferdinand today?

I was surprised he played him. Now his other foot is injuried.

I thought he wasn't at his best when he decided to to start Rio, and franky Rio should know better. He not only started the injured, vital defender but made sure he would have a hectic day by clipping the wings of the team(Evra and Ronaldo-even Scholes).
Got away with it? That I doubt very much.

Evra has a yellow card and with Silvestre back I can understand Fergie resting him.

All we did was insert two players(Park and Sylvestre) in the starting side and yet the team played so different. We were weak on the flanks(and owen did well), and if you are playing the injured Rio, wouldn't Evra's tenacity regarding defense help?

The problem is your remaining schedule - you have dates with Arsenal and Chelsea both of which are vital to your league chances, and you went into today with a 2-0 lead yet played a key member of your squad even injured...that speaks volumes of a) how much he thinks of Rio and b) how nervous he is WITHOUT Rio...which all means that he really has no good center back options with Rio and Vidic out. This could become significant down the stretch.

I do not know why people do not see Wes Brown as a formidable CD,opting to rest your ace forward and starting your injured CD doesn't suggest you you really fear life without your ace defender.
Besides, Pique isn't bad and Sylvestre problem is being understandably rusty. There isn't that great of a fall with Man U losing their two best CDs as people think or hope..

                    mmmm?
BoyU has to climb these hurdles i) Chelsea's determined bunch of players - Chelsea players want to show that they can overcome the deficiencies of Manager Grant - (such as they see it) - and still take home silverware and players who could put aside their pique and unite into excellent TEAM Chelsea - who so far have not been playing well but have been playing - (physically & 'we shall not lose') - strong...

                    ...and...

ii) an Arsenal...a set of YOUNG GUNNERs who will be out to take out the fustrations of the last several weeks on someone...and frankly there is no other worthy opponent left in their season for them to do that excepting BoyU.
