    Walcott - Pressure on Reds

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott is happy for Liverpool to be favourites to reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

The first leg of the all-Premier League quarter-final finished 1-1 at Emirates Stadium after Dirk Kuyt cancelled out Emmanuel Adebayor's opener.

Liverpool's away goal could yet prove decisive but Walcott is confident that Arsenal can go to Anfield and win.

"People can say that Liverpool are favourites," Walcott told the club's official website.

"That is a good thing really. We can just concentrate on ourselves and they can have all the pressure.

"There is plenty of belief, the lads have been buzzing in training. We'll turn to Saturday now and then back to the Champions League.

"We will take the positives out of this game, look at Liverpool's negatives and see where it takes us. I think we will go there, play our football and get a goal."

    One of those days

Arsenal were on top for much of the game on Wednesday and Walcott admits that had their finishing been better they could have taken full control of the tie.

"The first half was like a Champions League game, slow passing around," he reflected.

"Then the second half was quick. But we got used to it so I think we will treat it like a Premier League game up there.

"We had so many chances and we would have taken those on another day. Sometimes you have days when you can't score and it was one of those."

Walcott was brought on as a substitute at the start of the second half but he was not totally satisfied with his own performance.

He said: "When I came on, I was on the left and gave them a few problems before I moved out to the right. I didn't see enough of the ball as I wanted."

          ...so did I!
Why the hell...Liverpool getting tired...Walcott was not given more chances to run at and or outrun players?

Flamini in particular - in so many matches - seem to ignore an open Walcott...often!
          Why?

Ummm ... I was thinking more along the lines that Walcott is English.
