  • Mexico 8 Jamaica 1 - Women Olympic qualifiers

Is this the correct and final score?

    Have we regressed?

This thing mi chat bout the girls the few months ago. You are what your score is bredda Mo, and I predicted blow outs. There is no regression, and they got blown out during women's WC qualifying as well.

Too many of us have false expectations on how good our teams are.

        I believe it was 4-0 or 4-1.

could the altitude/smog in MexTico have any thing to do with their performance? Just asking.

The tournament is being played in Ciudad Juarez, just across from El Paso, USA. I don't know that area to be smoggy, and the altitude is 3,700ft, which is almost similar to altitudes they were playing in while in Brazil. It's also about 1,000ft lower than the should-be academy at Munro.

So, not sure if any of those things are factors.

                  Any more suggestions?

I guess no one instructed the Mexicans to engage the hidden rule of not embarrassing the opponent.

                      Those Mexicans should be fined!

                          Yes. That too! Straight red!

So, I guess it would not have been that bad had we kept 11 on the field. Maybe a 8-2, or 6-1?

                          Yay!
