Ronaldo came close to scoring at Lyon with a vicious free-kick
Uefa has fined Lyon £2,520 after Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo was targeted with a laser pen during their Champions League tie last month.
The incidents at the Stade Gerland both before and during the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie on 20 February were reported by United.
And Uefa's Control and Disciplinary Committee imposed the fine for "incidents of an unsporting nature".
There was no suggestion Ronaldo's health could have been affected.
Uefa made the decision after studying reports from referee Luis Medina Cantalejo and Uefa delegate Jan Damgaard.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw but United went through 2-1 on aggregate.
Bolton and Everton have also been fined by Uefa.
Wanderers were fined £5,000 for crowd disturbances during their Uefa Cup match against Atletico Madrid on 21 February - Atletico were fined £15,000 after fans threw missiles and fireworks during the match.
