    Who is the finest finisher?
    (FIFA.com) Tuesday 11 March 2008

Being a forward is not just about scoring goals. For now, though, FIFA.com would like you to forget about pace, strength, creativity, movement and focus solely on players putting the ball in the back of the net.

Presenting our latest 'Have Your Say' debate: Who is the best finisher in the world?

Didier Drogba, Pauleta, Theofanis Gekas, Francesco Totti and Ruud van Nistelrooy, Francesco Totti topped the scoring charts in England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain respectively last season, while Cristiano Ronaldo, Emmanuel Adebayor, Fernando Torres, Karim Benzema, Mario Gomez, Luca Toni, Marco Boriello, David Trezeguet, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Luis Fabiano are among the forerunners to succeed them. Is one of these players your pick?

Perhaps your choice does his damage elsewhere in Europe, or outside of it. Omar Bravo, Humberto Suazo, Daniel Montenegro, Martin Palermo and Washington have been in fine form across the Americas, while Joel Griffiths recently finished as the leading marksman in the 2007/08 Australian A-League.

The aforementioned form only a small percentage of the candidates. Maybe your selection plays for a team that creates few chances; maybe he's been prolific for years. Ask yourself this: if your team were drawing in injury time and the ball could fall to any player of your choice in a scoring position, who would you want that player to be?
