How could a free kick specialist like Daniel Shaw

is consistently denied national call up. This Guy is consistently scoring for is weak team . There must be quality in a player like this who always seems to score for his team. Most premier league teams is aware that he is August Town scorer but they still not preventing him from scoring. I hardly see Jamaica having any good free kick specialist and I think we need players who have that ability. Goal win match and sometime we are going to need to win games ,that we are not playing the brazillian way. In a league so competitive I am sure he must have some abilities like a liverpool Ian rush. We need different type of players in our squad...Defensive, free kick specialist,man markers, aerial dominant players,speedy defensive and attacking players,zonal markers....It is even better when we can have players who are capable of adapting to these different specialist task base on the opponents etc. I can't see how Portmore and harbour view have so much players in national squad when the league is so competitive. I hope Simoes have a look at this player even to develop his game.

He doesn't get called up cause he is just not good. It's all fine that he can take free kicks but what must we do? Let him stay on the field and do crap all game until a free kick is awarded. Jermaine Hue is a better player overall and takes better free kicks. We need to stop rallying for family members to be on the national side. Shaw has been to many bigger teams in the NPL and was always crappy.

He cannot tackle, he doesn't run much, him passing is okay not great and he has an extremely wicked shot. His shot is the only thing that puts him at an International level (well maybe his market tracing antics also).
He certainly adds no value to our team. Might as well we call Andy if we going to call him.

You are correct, point after point! He hit a rasping shot today against Harbour View but did nothing else. Oh, he delivered one of his market tracings after August Town gave up a 2-1 lead to draw with HVFC.

Right now, not sure Hue takes better freekicks, but Shaw is certainly not going to be called to a national side any time soon just because of that.
