Two different evil TheDread. Unfortunately the injury that Eduardo suffered is one of the risk of playing the beautiful game. The question to be asked is whether Taylor was going for the ball or the player. If his tackle suggest that he was going for the ball, then we have to assume that the end result from the tackle was an unfortunate accident. Taylor's history suggest that he is a clean player so he should be given the benefit of the doubt. It has been argued that if the referee had not seen Eduardo's injury he would not have produced the red card because the tackle at first glance did not seem that rash. It was a case of a defender going in with a strong tackle and missing the ball and connecting with the player instead.
