I didn't like King game very much. Good to see him in the mix and having the energy but he needs to stay closer to the 18 yard box. Fuller have a better chance of carrying the ball forward than King. If we need one forward up top it has to be King.

...and, if he was not holding up all those balls...and if he was not getting to all those underweighted passes...and if he was not making all those passes/distributions...and if he did not make that excellent assist on goal...but staying in the 18 yard box what do you think would have happened?

I am not going to separate Marshall's and King's efforts...and as I said in another post I want to take another look at the match concentrating on watching the 'new players'.

btw - Gardner played very well...and made vital contributions from midfield...and from both sides of the field.

You are right. Now all we have to do is convince Fuller to play that role. He is one of our most creative players (if not the most creative) and we should take advantage of it.
