    JFF Competitions Committee Decisions

At a meeting of the Jamaica Football Federation Competitions Committee held on Thursday, January 10 at 11:00am, the following decisions were taken.

    1. In accordance with Article 8, Section 7 of the JFF, Cash Plus Premier League Rules & Regulations 2007-2008, Seba United Football Club was fined $50,000.00 along with a five home match probation applied to its home ground, Jarrett Park for its breach of Rules in Game #90 in the Cash Plus Premier League (Seba vs. St. Georges). This is with respect to a missile throwing incident at the above mentioned game.

    2. Mr. Damion Stewart of the St. Georges FC will attend a meeting of the Jamaica Football Federation Competitions Committee on Monday, January 14 at 2:00pm for his retaliation at the crowd in Game #90 in the Cash Plus Premier League (Seba vs. St. Georges)

    3. Game #101 (Arnett Gardens vs. St. Georges FC) and Game #103 (Seba United vs. August Town FC) which were both aborted due to an island wide power outage will be rescheduled and the dates announced shortly.

    Not totally unexpected...

Isn't that the same about that J.F.F owes Seba?

Should a fan/ fans be legally responsible for disrupting a game..

What if a mad man from New York decided to disrupt a harbour view game..

Can harbour view sue the person for at least a portion of the fine?

I think fan/fans should be at least legally charged $2000 for disrupting games ..

What does New York have to do with anything?

the club is responsible for ensuring fan behaviour. Have you ever been to a game and see all the stewards sit facing the stands. Thats why...

Gee.. great minds usually think alike eeen Mosiah.

The question is what if ...mean example

Just trying to see if the clubs can recoupe some money or prevent some fans from disturbing games because of the price tag and legality involved.

Maybe if we start charging the performers more for swearing on stage they will try harder to stop it. The charge is like a few heinken drink for these rich performers...

We need to take stance like singapore just to prevent somethings in jamaica.

How on earth a person who commit murder before and is a known don get bail. Next yu hear seh them can't find him....
