I cannot believe you guys are saying what I have been saying here since the early days of the forum. Shearer has always been over-rated and he has knifed many a manager in the back. He and England walloped Germany in a game that did not matter. When they get to real competition, look at the Germans and compare them then. He won the Premiership at Blackburn and nothing since. He made bad choices since and has constantly undermined managers. Gullitt was not bad at Newcastle or Chelsea.
