LOL...they were born in England...although they were consumated in Jamaica...LOL...got your voicemail message..see above post for contact info. I know Jon is still interested in players from Jamaica. The brand of ball they ended playing by the end of the season was quite nice. Make sure to contact him when you can..you can go on to the Longwood web site as well for the telephone number.
they have some nice players...Joel Senior..and the Brasilian kids stood out for me...but the coaching was horrific...and to make matters worse the coach is so arrogant (about nothing) that he doesnt even see it. He didnt shake our hands or even say hello before the game..and after..he didnt shake our hands either as he was so bitter. But to lose to a first year Division 1 school who played with 10 men the entire game is inexcusable. And we were even on corner kicks and only 3 off on shots..so we controlled the tempo of the match and did not pack it in.
Don't know the coach although I have spoken to him a couple times. He is new at Howard, which, of course, doesn't excuse boorish behaviour.
Senior is a very good player, even though Karl doesn't like him. Don't mind Karl. He would probably say your boy is slow. 92 seconds for a 5 year old is reason enuff for a drug test!
Bill I'm glad for you and wish you
the best. I hope that by the time your son reaches the age of senior players, Ja will be a power in this region (hence he won't hesitate to play for rboyz).
Take your time; anytime you get a hold of a nice video, throw it up.
True...I am not joking..these boys I saw were incredible...Arsenal and Man U. both encourage the players to express themselves...and when they played they played 4v4. But really no passing..they were dribbling artists..flexible, creative, good rythm to their movements...everything you would want and see from the best professional "artists" I saw in these young ones. I tell you messi, robinho, ronaldinho, kaka etc. etc. had nothing on these kids trust me
Bill maybe you don't know
but when you saw robinho, you open whooole different can of worms. LOL In time because as I have learnt; skill is technique under pressure.
very true...to be fair..I am more a fan of a messi type...because he can shred people to bits...but he is also a pit bull when he loses it...and defensively as well.
Bill, let me warn you. Jawge will defend Robinho to no end. Unless you have time on your hands, do not go down this road with him. You could be going back and fourth on this even this time tomorrow.
