Jamaica have better chance of reaching U-17 World Cup finals
(Radio Jamaica)
Jamaica’s chances of qualifying for their second FIFA Under-17 World Cup finals could be easier as a result of a new format announced for next year’s Concacaf final round qualifying series, from which five teams will advance to Korea.
Jamaica will host four other teams in group B, which will provide three of the five Concacaf qualifiers.
The top two teams from the four team group A playoff in Honduras will also advance.
The draw to determine the group will be made after the completion of the Central American qualifiers in El Salvador next month.
Canada, Haiti, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago and United States are the early qualifiers along with the host nations Jamaica and Honduras.
