    Flu bug hampers Rams

Paul Jewell has revealed Derby County's preparations for Saturday's daunting trip to Manchester United have been hampered by a flu bug.

The Rams boss has seen defender Claude Davis and winger Gary Teale struck down by illness this week and the pair are major doubts for the trip to Old Trafford.

"We've had a bit of a flu bug around," he told the club's official website.

"Claude Davis has been ill for three days and Gary Teale also picked it up so we'll have a roll call tomorrow (Friday).

"We haven't got too many injuries at the moment - only Marc Edworthy and Andy Todd from the senior players. Other than that everyone is okay."

Meanwhile, Jewell has warned his players that they can't afford to make any mistakes against the champions.

"We're playing against one of the top teams in Europe on Saturday," he continued.

"So what we are trying to do is eradicate the mistakes that maybe you might get away with against lesser teams.

"These types of teams like Arsenal, like Liverpool, like Manchester United, they will punish you straight away.

"We have got to be difficult to beat because if we give bad goals away they will rip us apart, so we have got to be as tight as possible.

"At the same time we must have the confidence, when we get the ball, to pass it in the right areas and get forward."
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)
